This project offers an insight into the process of creating detailed digital vector artwork. Built over several sessions, the JCB excavator has been developed in stages, covering the chassis and tracks, body and cab, and boom assembly.
With more than 30 hours invested so far, the project is nearing completion. Final details are being refined, with the bucket still to be drawn.
Once finished, the artwork is likely to feature on mug prints and form the starting point for a small collection of plant machinery and vehicle illustrations.
